ServerCheck ("the app") is a server and website uptime monitoring tool. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
The app does not require creating an account, signing in, or providing any personal identifier to use it.
All data you enter into the app - the list of servers/websites you choose to monitor (their names and addresses), the check history for each one, and your app settings (check interval, notification preferences) - is stored only on your own device, in a local database. This data is never uploaded to us or to any third party, and we have no access to it.

The app does not communicate with any server operated by us, and does not send your monitor list, history, or settings anywhere.
If the app encounters an error, a basic crash log is written to a private file on your device for your own troubleshooting. This log is never automatically uploaded or transmitted anywhere.
The app lets you export your monitor list and settings to a plain text file saved in your device's Downloads folder, so you can back it up or edit it yourself. This file is created only on your device and is never uploaded or transmitted by the app.
The app does not integrate any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting service, and does not share any data with third parties.
The app requests only the Android permissions needed for its core function: internet access, running as a foreground service, showing notifications, scheduling periodic checks, and (optionally) being exempted from battery optimisation so monitoring can continue reliably. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, messages, or call log.
